Our artists firstly said “we are replying to
your lists by our songs?? then they made their bodies an instrument and started
the death fast resistance.
They became immortal song Helin Bölek and star
hearted İbrahim Gökçek.
Peoples lawyers said we made our lives as
frock and gowns and we are continuing to represent our people. With our 2020
Death Fast Resistance, martyrdom of Helin, Ibrahim, Mustafa and continuing
death fast resistance of Ebru, Aytaç, Didem and Özgür we have rewritten the
definition of being a revolutionary artist, being a people??s lawyer, freedom
fighter and free captivity throughout the world.
Whilst those whom shown resistance against
imperialism, even those countries against
racism-injustices-oppression-exploitation, organisations, leaders even
individuals' classes as terrorists and at the same time when the revolution
wave retrograded, the resistance in Anatolian land flourished. Our resistance
proved to the left of our country and the world that we are not helpless
against the attacks of imperialism and fascism. It has proven that resistance
is our right and duty. It has also proven there is always a way to break
through the fascist siege.
At the midst of silence and hopelessness it
became a dynamism of moral grounds to remind the legitimacy of being a
revolutionary and the values of the left. The rightfulness and determination of
the resistance became a hope for resistance and gains amongst those disbelieved
and those ideologically scattered within the current system.
Heroism of our resistance fighters and
immortalised martyrs that we have forwarded to eternity gifted us the political
victory, has gone beyond the borders and oceans.
The voice of the resistance and resistance
fighters have reached to those from Greece to Europe, from Europe to Latin
America despite all the attacks, preventions, censorship and barriers.
It took it??s place in the consciousness and
the heart of the people of Anatolia and the people of the world. It amplified
the internationalism.
In order to adopt the demands of Helin and
Ibrahim, Mustafa, lawyers of the people Ebru and Aytaç for fair trial the
people of world took part in protest actions, composed musical works, written
poems and sent solidarity messages by video recordings. E-Mails and letters
written to the representatives of the states.
This resistance accelerated the feelings of
unity and solidarity that was deliberately made to be abandoned.
It has freshened the blood relations between
the people of the world from Antartica to Latin America and from Latin America
to Antartica.
The righteousness and power of the resistance
proved the potentials of internationalism. It has also shown us the need of
international amongst the global revolutionary movements and the oppressed
people.
Hundreds of newspapers, magazines, agencies
and internet sites have reported the death fast resistance in and out of the
country. It was widely covered by press interviews. Tens of TV stations made
programmes.
Hundreds of revolutionaries, anti-imperialist
and anti-fascist left organisations, hundreds of law and human rights
establishments, thousands of socialist internationalists from 51 countries
offered their support and solidarity and demanded the acceptance of the
requests of the resistance from; Germany, America, Australia, Austria, Belgium,
Benin, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Republic of Democratic Congo,
Morocco, Palestine, Philippines, France, Haiti, Croatia, India, Netherlands,
England, Iran, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Catalonia,
Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova,
Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Togo,
Ukraine, Venezuela, Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey.
Lawyers of the people united 2 million lawyers
represented by the international law organisations from 110 countries for
justice struggle against the AKP fascism??s jurisdiction of showpiece.

39 out of the 79 bars in Turkey
supported the legitimate demand of “right to
fair trial?? of Ebru Timtik and Aytac Unsal, demanded justice.
356 lawyers from 20 different countries and
400 lawyers from Turkey totalling 756 lawyers, petitioned the Supreme Court of
Appeals and demanded the reversal of the judgement and release of the lawyers
from Progressive Lawyers Association (CHD) and People??s Law Bureau (HHB).
11.633 people and representatives of
establishments from 46 countries, from Haiti to Saudi Arabia, from Italy to
Pakistan, from USA to Japan signed the petition organised within 10 days by
Freedom to Defence Coordination to demand the acceptance of requests of Ebru
Timtik and Aytac Unsal whom has been captivated and on Death Fast. They have
demanded, the state to cover the requirements for fair trial of Ebru Timtik and
Aytac Unsal and to release them immediately.
22 law organisations made out of and including
The Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), International
Association of Lawyers (UIA), Council of Bars of Italy, local bars and
democratic establishments prepared a 135-page report and said “the conditions
for the fair trial must be arranged in this case which is full of injustices
and that does not have any legitimacy in the eyes of the national and
international public opinion??.
365 lawyers from Turkey and many of other
countries called for the immediate release of imprisoned lawyers Ebru Timtik
and Aytac Unsal whom has been on Death Fast. They demanded the right to a fair
trial to be established and imprisoned lawyers to be released.
At the joint event on 5th April, International
Lawyers Day, in Belgium organised by Amnesty International, The Council of Bars
and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), Lawyers Without Borders, Bar of Brussel,
Bar of Liege, Association of Lawyers for Democracy and Association of Judges
Union declared that they are “Defending the defence in Turkey??.
Representative of Association of Lawyers for
Democracy presented a letter to the Turkish Consulate entitled “We are
demanding the release of our imprisoned colleagues??.
Many lawyers from Europe and representatives
of Bar of Brussel, Bar of Liege, lawyer's organisation OBFG representing the 11
Belgium Bars and 11 German Bars, The Council of Bars and Law Societies of
Europe (CCBE), International Association of Lawyers (UIA) attended the trial of
lawyers from Progressive Lawyers Association (CHD) and People??s Law Bureau
(HHB) in Istanbul on the 18th-20th March.
Sibylle Gioe whom have followed up all the
hearings from observer panel made out of 6 Belgian lawyers published an article
entitled “Observations from Showcase Trial?? in order to explain the
injustices.
On 15th June, 20 bars representing the 80% of
the lawyers in Turkey proclaimed the demands of their colleagues Ebru Timtik
and Aytac Unsal for a fair trial by announcing “Justice must prevail, Ebru and
Aytac must live??.
39 bars made a collective announcement to
condemn the unlawfulness and unjust sentences given to Lawyers of the People.
They have held a “Duty of guard for Justice?? in front of the Court Palaces and
the ordinary courts. Cried out the demands of “Fair trial?? and “Freedom for
the defence??. Used all the possible channels of lawful appeals.

The Death Fast of Ebru Timtik and Aytac Unsal
continues for a fair trial. Lawyers of
the people put their lives on the line to open a path and construct a path and
to show us the way of how to struggle for justice. United the people and
enhanced the Internationalism through the struggle for justice.
Helin Bolek and Ibrahim Gökçek??s resistance
not only proclaimed by the people of the Anatolia also by the Anti-imperialist
and Anti-Fascist people and organisations from 51 countries throughout the
world.
We are only writing about some of the
organisations and representatives of the organisation throughout the world that
has shown support by video recordings, photos and placards, composing songs,
writing poems, sending solidarity and support messages by drawing caricatures
and making press releases for the Death Fast resistance of Grup Yorum members
Helin Bolek and Ibrahim Gokcek, Lawyers of the People Ebru Timtik and Aytac
Unsal.
Even examples of what we have written here
will prove the content of the political gains of the resistance, how it
strengthened the international forces, role of unification and how it provided
a hope and a morel for the people.
We are honoured and proud of our resistance
that has gone beyond the oceans, continents and borders that has echoed at 51
countries. We are also aware that this resistance has strengthened the
struggles of the oppressed people of the world.
But our struggle continues. Our route is long. Therefore, it is our duty
to nurture and generalise the use of a new inventions for this solidarity. We
will succeed altogether with all of those supported our resistance.

presented us the political victory and our
resistance fighters that continued the heroic

of the history. Therefore, we would like to
make a call.
IT IS OUR CALL:
Helin to Ibrahim and Mustafa with our martyrs,
Ebru to Aytac, Didem to Ozgur during the continuation of our heroic Death Fast
Resistance despite of all the preventions, arrests and imprisonments, tortures,
fines, bans due to corona restrictions those whom shared the hunger of our
resistance fighters with their instruments, words of their songs, poems,
compositions, videos, art works, rallies and demonstrations will be published
on our website HalkinsesiTV.
We are aware of our shortcomings when solidarity and supports shown for our two martyrs of Grup Yorum, resistance of Ebru and Aytac, Didem and Ozgur during the events and actions. We request from our readers and friends to complete our lacking. We do not want a slightest solidarity shown towards our resistance to go unnoticed. We want everyone's effort, rage and love which is part of our resistance to be known by everyone.
